Pope, Patriarch and the war

Pope, Patriarch and the war

New Pope Leo XIV offered to host direct talks between Russia and Ukraine in Vatican. Pope is head of Vatican which is a very small state. Its population is around 900 people. As head of a very small country, Pope has very little power. As the head of Catholic Church, Pope has considerable soft power. He can influence presidents and prime ministers, especially in Catholic countries.

Pope would be doing much good, if he could convince some presidents and prime ministers to divide Europe and EU in two groups, Eastern and Western. Even if direct talks are held in Vatican, not much result is expected, unless there is agreement for division of Europe in two groups. Historically, Catholic Church had a role in the start of New World Order.

The original idea in Crusades was for a Western European Union that would include the countries that participated in the Crusades. Later, they thought that it would be a good idea to enslave Eastern Europe and instead of Western European Union have European Union. So they sacked Constantinople in 1204 AD and that caused the demise of Byzantine Empire which was powerful, advanced and prosperous.

Byzantine Empire was weakened after the first sack and Ottomans seized the opportunity. The second sack of Constantinople was in 1453 AD. While under Ottoman rule, the areas that used to be in Byzantine Empire had much slower development compared to Western Europe. That is why today Balkans are less developed compared to Western Europe.

The reason is centuries under Ottoman rule. That happened because Byzantine Empire was weakened after the first sack of Constantinople in 1204 AD. If the first sack had not happened, most likely Ottomans would not be able to conquer Constantinople. Now Balkans would be more advanced and prosperous than Western Europe because Byzantine Empire was more advanced and prosperous than Western Europe.

Russia and Ukraine are not Catholic countries. They are Christian but Orthodox. Zelensky has acted against the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. He was placed by Western European NWO. His mission was to detach Ukraine from its former close allies, Russia and Belarus and attach it to Western Europe. All three countries (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine) are Orthodox while Western European countries are not.

Orthodox Christians are approximately three hundred million while Catholics are more than a billion. Although not as many as Catholics, Orthodox Christians have a significant number. To make a comparison, Jews are fifteen million. The leader of Orthodox Church is formally the Ecumenical (global) Patriarch. He is considered first among equals. Orthodox Churches of various countries are more autonomous than Catholic.

Current Patriarch is Bartholomew. There are many problems with Patriarchs generally and Batrholomew specifically. There were big mistakes made for centuries that have resulted in weakening Orthodox Church. During Byzantine Empire era, the Ecumenical Patriarchate was in Constantinople (Istanbul). After the sack of Constantinople in 1453 AD, the Patriarchate should have moved to another Orthodox country.

Since Balkans were under Ottoman rule, probably Patriarchate should have moved to Moscow. Instead it remained in Constantinople. Ottomans, as contemporary Turks were Muslim. So the Patriarchate was for many centuries in a Muslim Empire, instead of being in an Orthodox country. That was the first big mistake but not the only one. It was followed by more.

In 19th century, most Orthodox countries in Balkans gained their independence. Even if it did not happen earlier, Patriarchate should have moved then in an Orthodox country. Til today, it remains in Constantinople (Istanbul). People in Patriarchate did not have the common sense to understand that the head of Orthodox Church must be in an Orthodox country. It is not only current Patriarch Bartholomew but all Patriarchs after the sack of Constantinople in 1453 AD that lacked common sense.

Another big mistake was that generally Patriarch is of Greek origin. So the rest of the Orthodox Churches only formally accept him as head of Orthodox Church. In reality, Patriarch does not represent all Orthodox Christians but only Greeks, inside Greece and abroad. Patriarch will not be truly, not just formally, accepted by all Orthodox Churches, unless high ranking clergymen from all Orthodox Churches are considered for this position.

Bartholomew specifically has done many mistakes that have weakened Orthodox Church. He has been too close to Germany (and Italy), which is not Orthodox. He has been hostile towards Russia which is the biggest Orthodox country. Russia is also the leading country in Europe. It has the largest population, area, economy and the strongest military. NWO presents Germany as the leading country in Europe because Germany has been a NWO stronghold since at least Nazi period.

Bartholomew has been concerned more regarding Patriarchate's relations with Catholic Church than relations with Orthodox Churches that supposedly are under Ecumenical Patriarchate. His relations with the largest Orthodox Church, Russia's, are very bad while relations with Catholic Church are good. During the war in Ukraine he did not have a neutral stance as he ought but was on Ukrainian side because Germany was on Ukrainian side.

The country that will host Russia - Ukraine direct talks will get a boost in its global status. So it has to be chosen carefully. It must not be a NWO country. Putin did Turkiye a big favor by suggesting Constantinople (Instanbul) as a meeting place. Perhaps one reason may have been that Patriarchate is in Constantinople. But Constantinople is not in Byzantine Empire anymore, it is in Turkiye.

As it has been explained, it seems that Turkiye is trying to get in EU. So by strengthening Turkiye's global position, NWO is strengthened. Meetings should not be held in Vatican either. Although officially Vatican is a separate country, in reality it is a neighborhood of Rome which is in Italy. In addition to being Catholic, Italy seems to be supporting EU. All those that support EU are on NWO side.

Although direct talks between Russia and Ukraine may not reach a formal agreement, they have very high symbolic and communicative value. It is required that the country where these meetings will be held is not a NWO supporter. That is the most important characteristic. If it is possible, it should be an Orthodox country. If a country is a) not on NWO side b) Orthodox Christian, it is ideal to host the meetings and will get a significant boost in its global status.
